Hey, guys, I'm not really here today. I'm over at The Debutante Ball, pretending to be a sweet, blushing, eyelash-batting, tiara-sporting, virginal debutante.
(Ha! Right. You can just picture that, huh?)
Anyway, please click on that link, stop by, and say hello.
I'll be the one wearing this:
Not really. I'll be the one waving the cigar around, as usual. But if you come see me, I promise I won't blow smoke in your eyes.
(Seriously. Don't let me be a wallflower on my debut post... *grin*)

I might be able to fit one of my legs in that waist. If I squeeze ;-)
Sarah -- LOL! I know what you mean. If I really tried to put that thing on, I think my liver would pop out of my nose.
I would totally wear that but it wouldn't match my flip flops and can of beer. OH damn!
Oh, wow! Whose dress was that? The wearer must have been awfully strong (in spite of having a tiny waist) to drag that dress around! Was she some kind of mutant? :D
Heading over....
Nice dress! :)
oh yes! your royal debut. i shall check it out right now.
On my way!! :D
PS: I would've loved to see you wear that! LOL
I can't imagine having to spend an evening in that dress. You couldn't sit down in it. How would you dance?
No risk of getting gigged for dancing "too close" to a partner in THAT dress!
Muffintopmommy -- Oh, come on! Think of it as a fashion statement.
Dianne -- I believe it was worn at the Martha Washington Debutante Ball in Laredo Texas. TG did the scenery and lighting for it one year, to make extra money. Apparently the debs are conveyed to the ball in the back of moving vans -- their dresses won't fit in any other vehicle. *grin*
Carole -- Thanks for checking out the Ball!
LR -- It's something, isn't it?
Abby -- Thanks!
Monica -- I don't think I'd have the strength to stand upright in something like that. ;)
Judy, etc. -- I think you'd just have to spin in circles. Slowly. And how on earth would you go to the bathroom?
Susan -- Ha! No kidding.
Off I go to the debs...
Thanks, Michele -- see ya there! :)
Well, I can imagine you eyelash batting, that's probably enough.
Patsy -- Ha! Yeah, that's about what I can manage. ;)
Is that the Marie Antoinette collector's edition? (sorry.) Off to read your debut post.
I don't think even Scarlett O'Hara would've worn that dress...
