Plowing Ahead with Life, Camel Style

I'm not going to bore you with all the details of why I don't have time to write a blog post today, especially since it appears I'm doing exactly what I'm claiming I don't have time to do.

I know! Sometimes I'm just a mass of contradictions. (Shut up. I'm complicated.)

Suffice it to say, Real Life sometimes intrudes on my internet playtime, and this is one of those times.

What little writing time I can scrounge has been spent plowing creative furrows in my current WIPs. (For those who may not know, a WIP is a "work in progress.")

Sooo, for me right now, it's work, work, work...much like my camel buddies here:

(There. At least I got you your camel piccie for the week. I feel better now. Not that I'm OCD or anything. Much.)

OH! And before I forget, I should mention that IN A FIX has been released in two new formats: audio (via Recorded Books) and mass market paperback (the smaller, cheaper paperback--it should be available everywhere the trade paper version was).

BTW, when you click on that Recorded Books link, you will sometimes--but not always--be linked to a part of the site other than the IN A FIX page. I don't know why. Perhaps they enjoy sending people on a treasure hunts. Or they think prospective readers...er, I mean, listeners...enjoy a challenge. It's a mystery to me.

Any big mysteries in your life right now?

Happy Hump Day! Toodles.

HI Linda, I'm so sorry that you don't have time for a blog post LOL
my only mysteries this summer is where to find the time to read all the books I want to.
One mystery solved is I just turned in my review of Quick Fix to LibraryJournal :)
I think you'll like it, look for it in their July edition.

I was waiting for a plow camel. I've seen them used in the middle east.

I'll tell ya...that real life business is for the birds. The vultures, I think, to be more specific.

Linda,

Oh, I hear ya on the too busy to think straight issue. My stress level this week is unbelievable. I want to crawl under my desk and hide.

Wow, an audio version! How cool is that? (Very cool.)

Only mystery in my life right now is how in the world did I manage to miss a spot when I was painting the porch columns and house trim this morning? What a pain. It'll only take a minute to touch up that little area, but to do it, I have to haul out the paint, brush, tall ladder, and then put it all away, and clean the stupid brush... again. (Did I mention it's a royal pain?)

I work therefore there are mysteries. Why did this coworker do that, etc.
Boring mysteries, Linda. Very boring.
Oh and also why doesn't Judy put her butt in a chair, her fingers on her keypad and write. That's a mystery.

I can relax now. Got my Wed camel fix. Thankx.
