A Little Hump Day Cursing ...

Okay, this camel is courtesy of Kari Lynn Dell (who received in an email from a friend, who found it God knows where) over at Montana For Real:

Is that not the best curse ever? Ha! I love it. I may have to embroider it and hang in on the wall.

If you haven't visited Kari's blog, you're missing a real treat. She's an honest-to-by-God cowgirl, living on a ranch and riding in rodeos. Oh, and in her spare time she writes romances. How's that for an eclectic lifestyle? The woman can do it all!

Do you know any interesting curses you can share with me? (Camels need not be involved, though always appreciated.)

that is one specific curse! i'm definitely going to keep it in mind, so people better learn now not to cross me!

You know, I used to use that one all the time...hmmm. Maybe we should make it viral...

The only other curse that comes to mind right now is from (I think) an old country song: "May the bird of paradise fly up your nose, and may it tickle when it goes"?

Now see? I've always heard, "May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits." I think I like crotch better. And, of course, the camel is cute. :)

@Teri Anne, I remember that song! It went, "May the bird of paradise fly up your nose. May an elephant caress you with his toes. May your wife be plagued with runners in her hose." Wow. Blast from the past. And now I'm going to have it stuck in my head all day. o.0

How about, "May you be stuck at a pay toilet with a bad case of diarrhea and a bent coin." (You can tell how old THAT one is... do they even HAVE pay toilets anymore?)

That was always one of my favourites. Of course, there's always the ancient Chinese curse: "May you live in interesting times."
