My
It's necklace. The open book is engraved with the title of my first (about-to-be) published book, In a Fix, on one side, and my initials on the other.
Is that not the most perfect gift ever for a writer? Supremely thoughtful.
And to think, he used to be such a brat ... ;)
(Thank you, Eddie!)
Now, if you want to read a real post, head on over to The Debutante Ball (by, yannoh, clicking on that link), where this week we're discussing "getting away." Of course, being me, I had to take it one step further and make that "getting away with it."
So, tell me, have you gotten away with anything fun lately?

What a beautiful necklace -- and yes, it's the perfect gift for a writer.
You probably saw the lovely Christmas ornament that a student's mother made me back in December -- she painted the cover of my book on a Christmas tree ball.
What an awesome and lovely gift. So very cool. : )
that's a FANTASTIC gift. good job, baby bro!
OMGood Gracious! That is a wonderful gift. Now I'm having an Awww! moment.
Way to go Eddie...great gift, great brother!
I get away with lots...some of it fun, some of it not!
Coolest gift ever...also a necklace!
Have a wonderful weekend, Jenny
I have gotten away with something fun...but I'm sworn to secrecy :)
Love the necklace!
That is absolutely beautiful! What an awesome bro. Hmmm...every day that I am not working in an office...I feel like I am getting away with something. ;-) Happy weekend!
Only thing I got away with lately is this morning, I actually changed the sheets on our bed without the assistance of both cats. (Unheard of!) (And not nearly as fun ...)
WOW! Coming from a family of non-gift givers and generally non-clever gift givers even when there is a gift, I am absolutely stunned by this! It is beautiful. I bet Tiffany is jealous.
That is an absolutely perfect gift. Good thing you let him live when he was making you crazy years ago.
What a great gift!
Can't get away with nothing. Being watched too closely by the man. Just kidding. No men in my life, unfortunately.
That a is fabulous and very sweet! I LOVE it!!!! I'm still a sucker for those crafty gifts that little boys make with so much love and pride. <3
That's lovely!
