WARNING: A Hump Day Post Not for the Squeamish (with apologies to Groucho Marx)

Outside of a camel, a book is man's best friend.

... well, actually, it's kind of gross.

(Um, sorry. I blame The Walking Dead. That show has a way of sticking in your head.)

So, what's sticking in your head on this fine Hump Day?

And I love the reference to Groucho. So few of us remember him anymore.

I just finished Quick Fix ARC so your funny-ness WAS sticking in my head. NOW...

Just kidding - still your funny-ness is what's there.

i have to echo what judy, judy, judy said since i too recently finished QUICK FIX. i can't stop thinking about ciel and billy and molly-o and mark.

if karla sees this, i'm sure she'll say i'm brown-nosing again, but really, the FIX crew is so funny.

LOL. I agree with you on the book thing, not sure about the camel thing. I'm more a cat person. :)

Don't forget timezones!
I was eating my breakfast when I opened this!

LD -- I know! Sorry. I blame the new prevalence of zombies in movies and on TV. *grin*

Judy -- Aw, thanks. I hope Quick Fix was better than looking at zombies.

Abby -- LOL! Hey, don't listen to Karla. She'll lead you down the wrong path. ;)

Deb -- Cats are cool. You will see no zombie cats on this blog.

Al -- Um, sorry. But I did warn you right in the post title. It's not my fault if your curiosity got the better of you. *grin*

Ewwww. But kind of cool anyway.

On my hump day, I am thoroughly stressed by standardized testing of my students, the inordinate pressure teachers are under to make sure students succeed, while meanwhile the testing guidelines have become so strict (to prevent cheating) that I am not even allowed to tell a student if he/she missed a section.

Dianne -- *rolls eyes* That is just so absurd. That must be horribly stressful for students and teachers alike. Sheesh. Bureaucracy.

Hmmm, a rather suitably disgusting picture for a website called "morguefile", dontcha think?

Me, I'm thinking we lost spring somehow. Went right from unseasonable cool to unseasonably warm, and after working my butt off in the yard today, I have my first sunburned nose of the year. (Oops. Just looked, and I'm wrong. The butt's still there.)

LOVE your new book!!!

I love it. I love body parts. The gorier, the better.

So there, all you squeamies!

Eek! Still better than the whole lamb carcasses I've seen at receptions at wrk that were hosted by, er, lamb-favouring countries...

Ah, yeah. Gross. lol.
Hey, hun! Thanks for stopping by my blog yesterday. I know I've been MIA a lot--gah. Sorry. But know that I'm here all the same, and that I love ya bunches.
I hope you've been great! :D
PS: how are you organizing the blogs you read now that google reader is gone? I know some are using certain apps, but I'm still asking around. (I haven't been able to organize myself--obviously!! Haha!)
