Thirty inches? Seriously?

That's what the weatherman is saying to prepare for, snowfall-wise. *sigh*

I'll let you know tomorrow if it comes to pass. (If I have power.) I'm too depressed to think about it now. *more sighs*

You know, this would probably be a lot more exciting if I could ski. Or ice skate. Or had the least desire to build a snowman. But I grew up in the sunny south, where snow is just a picturesque thing you look at.

In pictures.

Sure, I've lived in VA for most of my married life, but it's the childhood experiences that define you, right? And I am defined by winters where snow shovels are like tits on a boar--you might find them, but they are purely ornamental.

Crap, I just posted a comment and then it vanished. I think I hit the wrong button, but if this shows up twice, you have to delete it, K?

I certainly feel your pain! I married a ski bum 12 years ago and we live in a ski resort town, but I hate snow. I hate the cold. I'm not a fan of ice, either. Every winter, I tell my husband I'm leaving him and moving to Hawaii. Somehow I never follow through. Apparently I've decided he's worth the misery :)

Be sure to post again and let us know how you're weathering the storm! That's assuming you have power, of course. Good luck with that!

Only see the one comment, so you're good.

Laughing at your threats to leave your husband. He must be quite a guy if you put up all that snow for him.

I'll be sure to post an update tomorrow, if at all possible. If you don't see me here, send in the St. Bernards!

I think I'm too much a child at heart. I would love to be snowed in. Alas NY hasn't seen that much snow yet this winter. (Hugs)Indigo

Indigo -- I don't mind the snowed-in part as much as I mind the shoveling part. Sadly, with this much snow (more than a foot and half so far, and still going strong), waiting for it to melt isn't an option. But it IS pretty. :)
