*Sighs* Doesn't that picture say it all? LUST.
I mean, it's obvious she has the itch, if you know what I'm sayin'. (What? Looks like she's scratching to me.) And who knows if she's ever even met that sailor before. *waggles eyebrows*
But it's not her fault the mere sight of him made her...um, "happy." There's a scientific excuse--er, I mean reason for it.
If you want to know what it is, just click here to read my guest post at the Heroes and Heartbreakers website, where you'll also get to read my nifty theory on why love triangles and bromances are so popular with certain members of the reading crowd.
Come on. You know you want to.
What? You need more incentive?
Okay, anyone who leaves a comment over there, and then comes back here to tell me, will be eligible to win one of my cheap and tacky (sometimes edible, other times amusing, and if you're lucky, both) prizes*.
Which by rights you should be frothing at the mouth for, since I haven't done a Cheap & Tacky Giveaway in quite a while.
Besides, it will make me look good to the nice lady who invited me to do the post. Think of it as your good deed for the day. It's like...good writer karma. Yeah, that's it. Writer karma. Hey, don't knock it! Writer karma works!
(You buying this? Yeah? Thanks! :D )
[Contest will close at midnight (midnight always sounds so dramatic, doesn't it?) East Coast time on Monday, Oct. 22, 2012. But don't use that as an excuse to procrastinate... *grin*]
* Or a signed copy of IN A FIX. Winner's choice.

Okay, I left you a question on Heros and Heartbreakers.
Thanks, LD! Much appreciated. And I'm sure you'll agree with me about Morelli. ;)
I stalked you all the way over there. Buwahahaha!
I posted a comment over there, and loved the post itself. Well written. I love the humor + insight.
Thoroughly enjoyed the post and left you a question. Of course, I'd follow you anywhere now that I'm jonsing for the second Grimes novel.
I went over there, and now I'm here. Perhaps I've been out of it since the paint fumes got to my head, but who's Morelli?
I left a comment. But I'm really wondering about the testosterone levels between Sheldon and Leonard LOL!
I commented! and I have to say here also that that post was super interesting!
And yes, if you got all your info off the Internet it does have to be true. LOL
I did not comment. But I read, does that count? ;D
It's an interesting theory. I find I'm fairly consistent in my *ahem* desires, though. Usually love triangles just give me someone to dislike and reason to yell at the heroine. But then, I'm weird.
wow, commenting on your guest post was extraordinarily difficult. i don't know if i can't read or if it's the afternoon duldrums, but it took me, no joke, 11 tries to get the word verification to accept me as a real, live human and not a can of spam.
*wipes brow*
Diane -- You can stalk me anytime. Well, if you bring beer. And maybe some wings.
DB -- Thanks! I find insight goes down easier with humor. *grin*
JJJ -- And I didn't even have to blow in your ear... ;) (You remember that, don't you? "Blow in my ear and I'll follow you anywhere.")
Anne -- Joe Morelli. The cop part of the triangle.
Carol -- LOL! Yeah, that one was a stretch. But they're funny, so I included them.
Jennifer -- But of course! They can't put anything untrue on the internet, right? *grin*
Delia -- Reading always counts. And you're not weird. Tastes differ, and that's okay. :)
Abby -- Whoa! That's above and beyond. Thank you! :)
How did I miss this?! Going now!
Done! Great post. I remember hearing that "science" on the news and thinking it made a lot of sense. Love your response to the hubby about bromances, lol.
Aurelia -- Thanks! Yup, sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, eh? ;)
Heading over to read your post there....
