What kind of shoe are you?

No, not what kind of shoe do you like to wear. I mean, if you were a shoe, what kind of shoe would you be?

(Yeah, I know. What can I say? I've been really busy, and it was the first topic I pulled out of my...um, hat. Just go with it, okay? It might grow on you.)

*Ahem* I like to think I'm stiletto heels with red soles:

Are those bad-ass or what? Pure sex, classy style, and danger, all rolled into one.

*sighs* Alas, I'm afraid I'm more like Ugg slippers:

Dependable, comfortable, a little gray...and, yes, under the right conditions, hot. ;)

(In fact, I have that very pair of slippers. They are pretty much my winter indoor shoes. They may not scream "I'm sexy and dangerous!" but they keep my feet warm.)

Now, sometimes I can be...

But I am never, ever...

(Yes, that is a goldfish in the heel of that disco shoe. No, I don't know why that was ever considered cool.)

How about you? What shoe represents your personality?

Or maybe something else entirely?

(For the nudists among you, just go with "barefoot." Of course.)

Happy Monday! And try not to over-think it. You'll only give yourself a headache.

Hmm. I guess I'm like a Keen athletic sandal. Comfortable, casual, but dependable and sturdy enough for daily wear? This metaphor is getting away from me...

I am a classic black pump with a peep toe. A little flirty, a little trendy, and a little conservative - all in one package. I go with anything! Your favorite jeans, that suit you only wear on interviews, even a hot date.

That's me. Yep.

I'd like to think I'm stilettos or even those thigh high boots (not as classy as the stilettos but three times sluttier) but alas, I am most probs the flip flops. comfortable, go to shoe thats probs only cost 99 cents but darnit that 99 cents was damn worth it ;)

I also like to think I am the stilettos but really...I am the converse. Bright, fun and comfortable to be around. :-) Happy Monday!

I'm probably like my pink slippers. Cute, no frills, warm... LOL!

Me? I'm an army boot! :)

OMG is that a live goldfish?

Okay. I know it probably is not.

But still . . .

WOW

Oh this one was easy. I'm one of those fun converse types (I actually have converses that lace up to the knee like boots). Love being ready for anything at the drop of a hat. There is always a pair of black combat boots and hikers in my repertoire, as well. I think I'm too impulsive and adventurous to dress to the nines and wear a heel.

You couldn't get far up a mountain in a three inch stiletto. Although, my very short 5' stature could use the height.(Hugs)Indigo

I'm a converse crossed with Birkenstocks (not with socks anymore, I SWEAR!)

Oh lordy. I'm probably more like a penny loafer than the red leather and snakeskin cowgirl boots I'd like to be. Chunky, dependable, nothing you really want to be seen with in public...

(Now I want red leather and snakeskin boots.)

Black leather biker boots with a couple of buckles; just enough to look a little bit bad.

Flat heels, tough leather, tough soles, but cushy and warm inside.

Good enough to protect you from road rash, kick down a door if necessary, and/or look great with jeans when drinking beer straight from the bottle.

But you can't really dress them up... kinda like me. :-)

I'd have to go with the penny loafers. Afraid I'm very traditional and just a little dull. Those can't be REAL goldfish can they???

My outer self would be the trekking shoes - comfy, sturdy, and built for a purpose (not beauty).

My inner self is definitely the high-thigh, high-heels sassy boots.

Hahaha! Yeah, I'm a slipper kind of girl, too. And sneakers and Crocks. All of those comfy things for me! lol
But like you--I'd love to be the stiletto type of chic! :P

It depends upon the day/event. I can be a smart, sensible shoe or something with a bit more sass and height. In other news, the red heel is the smartest marketing ever. Well done, Christian Loubatain.

Flip flops. Or Crocs. I'd love red soles, too. Alas, 'tis not moi.

I hope I'm like my red patent leather platform heels. Bright and cheerful, kick-ass fun, uplifting, and a teensy bit sexy.

Aw, hell.
I'm a pair of orthopedic sandals.

Fluffy, purple down slippers and when I'm really dressing up...sneakers!

This is basically asking me to pick what my favorite shoes are because I wouldn't wear something that was like my personality...thank goodness I recently wore 58% of my shoes and one pair jumps to mind.

My canvas pumps with leather trim and slightly chunky heel (they look exactly like this
http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_cnhBwkE38N4/SfAZaRSgphI/AAAAAAAAA28/SdOOdoGi6NY/s320/philosophy+shoe+1a.jpg ). Classy with a little quirky humor and an edge that always comes from that nice tall hell. Those shoes give me nothing but smiles when I wear them because they go with everything, are appreciated by anyone with taste in shoes and were a real steal on clearance.

Thigh high leather boots in purple - but with a fairly sensible heel.

Do I even have to say? Cowboy boots, of course, just depends on the day whether I'm a run down in the heel roper or a Fat Baby.

I want to be something racy, but I suspect I'm actually something dependable like a pair of trainers, that are getting a bit worn but still do the job :-)
