Hope all of you who celebrate had a lovely Thanksgiving, full of delicious things to eat and drink. I know I did. *groan* I'm still full.

Why is it Black Friday?
We call Fridays that fall on the 13th of the month "black Friday"
Karen -- Leftovers are the best part of Thanksgiving. Yum!
Al -- I've always heard the term "Black Friday" is derived from it being the day retail establishments traditionally move from red ink to black ink on their ledgers. All that holiday shopping pushes them into the black.
