Happy First Hump Day of 2011!

If you're wondering how to celebrate, I found this helpful suggestion while prowling the interwebz:

If you can't read the smaller word at the top of the picture, it's "AHEAD."

(Now, if that's not a good reason to keep your eyes on what's in front of you, I don't know what is.)

Enjoy traveling toward your future, and enjoy the scenery along the way. Oh, and don't forget to follow the directions. The fun ones, anyway. ;)

  1. I think that's what worries most about the new year -- all the humps I'll have to get over.

  3. Ahhhh - your first hump day post is a photo of England. Yes there are indeed weird instuctions you have to follow when driving in the UK. I believe that there is a handy car parking lot just out of sight in that village... for obedient drivers. Just tell me if you'd like to know why we drive on the left :)

  11. Anne -- One hump at a time. That's the only way I can manage obstacles. :)

Suze -- LOL! I WOULD like to know why you guys still drive on the left.

Dianne -- Aww. Sorry. Just add it to your To Do list for later. ;)

    Abby -- :)

Karla -- Thanks! Back atcha. :)

Demery -- I lived there once, but I was only 2, so my memories are vague at best.

Melissa -- Happy H-Day, to you too. :)

Elena -- Always nice to see another Hump Day appreciator! :)

    Lola -- I get it. ;) Back atcha. :)

Bess -- Hey, naps ARE productive. They recharge you, so you can face the world again. :)

Kelly -- Happy to oblige. :)

  12. When I was a kid, my dad would see those "stop ahead" signs and put his hand on my head or my brother's head. "It says you're supposed to stop a head," he'd tell us (I know, I know, cheesy).

In light of this memory, I'm not really sure how to read "Hump ahead."
