Hey, you celebrate your way and I'll celebrate mine!

So, I'm going to see if I can keep this birthday thing going all week...

Actually, while this nice camel is celebrating in my stead, I am hard at work on my WIP. Because, goofy writer that I am, that's what I think is fun.

What's your idea of fun? Besides looking at crazy camel pics, that is?

  1. Apparently my idea of fun is standing out in the freezing cold, getting lashed by seawater and waiting for ferries to go by. I didn't know I found it fun, but OH assures me, on a daily basis, that I love that kind of thing so I suppose it must be true.

  2. My idea of fun is being able to comment on your blog. Huzzah! Oh, and drink on your b-day of course....just to toast you, naturally. It wasn't about me. At all. Really.

  3. Happy Birthday again!

Also, today my son turns five and he was very pleased to see a birthday camel. :)

  4. I love getting my Wednesday camel fix. Writing is my idea of fun, too. And most things involving the coast. And since I sometimes tend to repeat myself: Happy Birthday!

  6. On my way to work this morning, I was going through my mental to-do list, and this popped into my head: "It's Camel Day on Linda's Blog!"

Sigh. Is this a good thing, that this is such a part of my life?

  8. I really wish writing was my answer to what is fun because it is my answer to what keeps me sane - but reading is my answer to what is fun.
More specifically, reading a really good romance novel.

  9. It's pretty darned fun to open my eyes in the morning and still find I'm still kicking. But writing, just about any kind of writing, is my passion. Um, next to my husband, of course. (Never can tell ... he could pop in here someday ...)

  10. Eating, writing, but more than anything, listening to my kids belly laugh so hard they can't breathe. That's when I know they are sublimely happy and to me, that's fun.

  11. One year, for Mother's Day, I asked my husband to take the children away for the whole afternoon so I could write.

    Clearly, writing is my fun.
And I'm also an ungrateful mom, huh?

  12. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!

I shall assume you stuffed your face silly with cake.

THAT is my idea of fun. Also writing.
